It has no beginning or end, it seems to be a fragment taken out of a constantly shifting frame - a continuation. The title of the composition in question aptly captures one of the typical features of the artist's painting - the specific dynamism of the forms depicted. It was the ambivalence of forces that inspired Jan Tarasin. Both shapes and colors played an important role. Juiciness of hue or economy of color range naturally differentiated interpretative approaches. The museum-class painting attracts the eye with the richness of the elements created by Tarasin. At the same time, the compositional arrangement is not chaotic, does not arouse anxiety. In the painting there is room for space, breath, the effect of this is strengthened by the subdued color background. Harmony, beauty, and at the same time a deep understanding of the subject of space and its dynamization in the artist's works, have gained recognition around the world. From Tokyo, to Paris, to New York.
The painting is dated 1980. At that time there were three significant solo exhibitions of the painter: at the Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions in Lublin, the District Museum in Radom and the Krzysztofory Gallery in Cracow.
